Client Services Manager – Technical Support (Agriculture)
If you are motivated by being the link between science and farming decisions that drive productivity, this role gives you the platform to apply your technical expertise, partner with the Agricultural industry and help farmers and growers get better outcomes from the way they use testing now and into the future.
This permanent role is all about partnering with our customers. By deeply understanding our farmers and growers' needs, you will translate technical information for various farming operations to empower confident decision making. An expert at solving complex problems, you will translate information between customers and internal stakeholders and identify opportunities for future test and service development.
Key Focus Areas
Technical Expertise
- 3-5 years’ previous relevant experience such as customer service, analytical laboratory or in an agriculture industry
- Understand the science behind our methods and importance of testing for a variety of different farming operations, from pastoral to horticulture
- Ownership of insights that will inform future testing developments
Client Education
- Provide training, both through sharing the right resources and in-person bespoke training
- Hosting farmers and growers for lab tours and attending client industry events such as Ballance Farm Environment Awards
- Develop and share resources that support effective sample submission from sampling through to receiving results
Customer Interaction & Support
- Provide support and guidance to our customers from what testing they need to where to find their results through providing resources, training and support via phone or email
- Manage incoming customer needs and requests with a same-day turnaround and provide a seamless customer experience via phone, email or in person.
- Providing a voice of the customer to multiple internal teams to streamline customer experience
Working hours: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm; Monday - Friday. Enjoy a flexible work environment with the opportunity to work from home on a rostered basis.
This role also offers travel opportunities to visit clients, attend agricultural industry events and open days.
