Looking for a flexible part-time job that fits your schedule? 

We have a 6 month fixed term, part-time role working 24-30 hours per week (there is flexibility based on preference and availability). The role will be from November to the end of April. 

The working days and hours for this role are Thursday-Saturday, with your choice of an 8-hour or 10-hour shift rostered between the hours of 6:30am and 9:00pm. 

Whether you're looking to build on existing experience or try something completely new, full training will be provided. 

What You’ll Be Doing: 

Performing day-to-day lab operations to deliver high-quality microbiology analytical services to our clients – this includes: 

• Carrying out microbiological and molecular testing 
• Calibration and maintenance of equipment 
• Laboratory housekeeping tasks 

What We’re Looking For: 

• A great team player with a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn 
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic 
• Great communication, time management, and organisational skills 
• Strong attention to detail and solid computer literacy 
• A science-related qualification or previous microbiology experience is a bonus – but not essential 
• Experience in a fast-paced environment is an advantage
