We have a rare opportunity to join our Head Office in a permanent senior leadership role.

Hill Labs are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented individual to manage the Procurement and Logistics function within the business.

A key focus of this position is leading the organisation’s procurement and logistics functions to ensure the timely, efficient, and cost-effective acquisition and delivery of goods and services. This includes developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance, and overseeing warehouse operations. 

This position would suit an individual seeking a challenge who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is keen to develop and implement procurement strategies across the wider Hill Labs business.

This crucial role will oversee enterprise wide procurement, purchasing, and warehousing services within our Hamilton site as well as providing support nationally to other sites.  Reporting to the General Manager Operations, this role will lead a team of 6 direct reports in the Procurement and Warehouse team.

About you

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in procurement, ideally within a laboratory or regulated environment
  • Strong knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., GMP, GLP, ISO 17025)
  • Experience with ERP systems and procurement platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
  • Experience in effective leadership and management of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (CIPS, CPIM or equivalent certification is a plus)
