Hill Laboratories are New Zealand's largest privately owned analytical laboratory. With laboratories across New Zealand, we use the latest technology to supply a broad range of laboratory tests to domestic and international markets in three testing areas: Agriculture, Environmental and Food.
We have an opportunity for a Section Manager to join our laboratory operations department in Hamilton. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will be focused on creating a great working environment for the members of the section, while ensuring that all expected section operational, quality, analytical technology, and financial outcomes are delivered.

Our Section Managers play an important role in providing input to strategic and business planning activities in their market sector and across the company.

As a strong leader with a big picture focus you will promote and foster a culture of continuous improvement. A key focus will be achieving optimum performance against KPI's. Ideally you will have a technical background with a good understanding of a laboratory processing environment.
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary science qualification with a minimum of 5 years industry experience and be someone who has demonstrated the ability to manage staff, resources and budgets in a high throughput technically advanced laboratory environment.
